Door Glasses Function:
The Fire 'Glass' (whether Strips or Panels) acts as a barrier between the fire and the room yet allows the flames to be viewed with the door closed. The Glass seals the appliance and slows the oxygen entering the appliance, hence preventing the fire from buring too rapidly. It is VERY important you fit new and correct seals when reinstalling glass. Correctly fitted Glass will save £££££ fuel over the time of the glass.
Jargon Buster:
The 'Glasses' can also be called ' Fire Glasses' or 'Heat Resistant Glasses' or 'Door Glasses'.

When replacing your glasses, there 'may' be several items you require. We sell 'Glass Cleaner' which can be used to keep the new glass clean. Glass cleaner can either be in the form of a 'spray' or a 'brush on gel'. We also stock 'non chemical' cleaners such as special 'Glass Cleaning Pads'. IRELAND (EU): We are taking orders to Republic of Ireland based on a 'best endeavours basis'. Due to our internal processes, there will be some products we cannot ship to Ireland. Customers wishing to place an order to Ireland should email us advising the parts required we will then check the parts are available to ship to Ireland. You may also PLACE AN ONLINE but DO NOT PAY and SELECT 'PAY LATER'. If ok to ship, we will send you an invoice for payment (deducting VAT). We would estimate around 10 - 15. The buyer will be responsible for payment of any import tax via Customers, the Courier will contact you for payment seperately when the parcels reach Ireland depot.

Returns:
Don't worry if you order the incorrect part, notify us within 7 days and return within 14 days. If we have advised you that your part is a SPECIAL ORDER then there may be a restocking | handling fee. Click for information about HOW TO RETURN. DO NOT return any parts to our registered office address in COVENTRY, this is not our warehouse and deliveries will be rejected by the admin team.
To return an item complete the RETURN FORM. We will then advise you a return address for your item.
