Fire Grates, Fire Grate Bars and Stoves Grate Bars 

We sell a large range of DISCOUNTED FIRE GRATES & BARS for solid fuel stoves, fires & cookers. 

The Stove GRATES & FIREBARS (also known as Grate Bars) support the Solid Fuel and optimise oxygen flow when the fire is burning. Some fires have a single ONE piece GRATE and others have TWO halves, such as BAXI and FIREMASTER DELUXE. They are usually made from either CAST Iron or CHROME Iron. Grates can be flat or have legs. 

Some stoves hold as many as 19 FIRE BARS, these can be replaced individually or as a set.  Old and Deformed Grates or Firebars can cause the 'De-ashing' Mechanisim to reduce / stop working, or the fuel to fall into the ashpan. Fire or Grate Bars usually have a high lift and a low lift bar, alternating in the mechanism, although this is not true for all Stoves eg. Charnwood.
