The Baxi Burnall system uses air for combustion from under the floor or outside of the room it is sited. The air flow can be regulated and controlled making the Baxi and efficient fire. The grate itself also sits lower than a conventional fire which helps again with air control. Draughts in a room where a Baxi Open Fire is installed should also be less as the air flow (air intake) is from under the floor or outside of the room.
