Grate seems fine, cast iron, great. I had a stainless one along time ago, made from 304 stainless steel. Didn't last half as long as the cast iron one. I was burning British Steel coke at the time, which got very very hot Burnt a big hole straight through the middle of the grate. Went back to cast iron.

Slight blip when my first order arrived. The courier had clearly dropped it somewhere between despatch and delivery, the box was split and one of the firebricks shattered. All was redeemed, however. A replacement part arrived two days later. Good service, good response to a problem.
