Fire Brick Function:

The Fire Bricks protect the Appliance's Cast Iron side panels from the Fire / Heat. If a Fire Brick is Cracked, it is recommended that the Brick be changed, as the Firebrick will soon become Derogated allowing heat exposure to the metal casting.
