Operating Tools generally have THREE Functions. (1) to lift the Ashpan / Ash Can (2) Rattle / Riddle the Grate to remove ashes from Grate and (3) Lift the Door Latch and Open the Fire / Stove Door. The 'Operating Tool' can also be called 'Lifting Tool'
