I had been trying to source this part from other Coalbrookdale agents without success for some time ,therefor I was pleased that Fireparts said that they could supply. Your service was excellent but you must do something about transport costs. Nairn is not in the back and beyond. It is well served by Road, rail and air. I would have been happy for the fire brick to come by a cheaper means even if it meant a longer delivery time.

List of discounted Parkray Solid Fuel Replacement Fire Bars & Grates to suit; Parkray Chevin, Classic, Consort, Caprice, Cumbria, K, Q, T, G range stoves & roomheaters. We also sell the newer range Parkray Firebars such as; Consort 4, Consort 5, Consort 7, Consort 9, Consort 15, Slimline 5 & Compact 5.
The Parkray Firebars support the Fuel (from falling into the Ashpan) when it is burning. There are several Firebars in a Parkray Appliance (each model may be different) but average amount of bars is 9 Bars. Most Parkray's will hold 2 or more different types of bars (Ie. Big End or Small End), there are occasional exceptions where one appliance model will just hold just one type of Fire Bar. When measuring your old bars to compare, beaware that as Firebars are used, they increase in length (hence the reason you see them warp and bend over time), this is why the De-ashing mechanisim very often stops moving. So the new bars you order will very often be slightly smaller (bars increase by between 10mm and 20mm). The 'Firebar' can also be called the 'Grate Bar' or 'Riddling Bar'.
