Delivery was swift and the parts were as ordered. However the riddling/ operating tool is rubbish compared to the one it's replacing.

This steel replacement seems like a good idea as it's less brittle (and presumably much cheaper to fabricate) than the cast iron original which snapped when a log dropped on it! But it's so much thinner at the non-spanner end that it's useless for picking up the ashpan - so much so that to describe it as a "lifting tool" is misleading. I've tried calling a couple of times to explain but the office is closed. I would however welcome a response.

On line ordering was clear and straight forward. But if you can find what your looking for they've always been very helpful on the phone. The parts were packed properly to prevent damaged and sent out quickly. We've used Fireparts for our Rayburn for the a number of years and would recommend them

Our Rayburn is on 24 / 7 and throughout the year bar a couple of weeks. The bars has lasted extremely well.

Our panels are made from clear 'Ceramic' which is more durable than 'Glass' and is popular as a replacement to old fashioned stove glass.  Whilst it is still delicate (like glass), Ceramic can absorb (a) more knocks and (b) has ZERO Thermal Expansion.  The physical difference between Glass and Ceramic is not obvious.  To check, take a Panel of 'Ceramic' glass and view it on the edge - looking into the glass (it will appear slightly pinky / brown in colour) where as Glass will appear white / clear.  Both types, when viewed 'head on' look clear. Our Ceramic panels can withstand heat of over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring safety, clarity, and long-lasting performance.
