The term ‘you’ or 'your' or 'the buyer' refers to the user  / viewer of our website or customer generally whether this be an offline or online customer.

Cheques for purchases are to be made payable to 'Megga-Service'.  Should you pay by Credit or Debit Card then you will see 'Fireparts (Megga Service)' on your statement.  Items, even after dispatched, always remain the property of until they have been paid for by you.

Pricing & Discounts: Many products are discounted for online / web purchases only (red prices).  Telephone order pricing is based off NON discounted prices (prices in black text); although a small discount may well be offered from time to time (as a goodwill gesture), please ask.
VAT Registration: applied for VAT registration on 11th March 2014.  The UK VAT number granted is 182­-3275­-09. 
We have two types of stock records on our our website.  (1) Live listings where much data has been added to the file to help you understand about the part you are ordering. (2) Where we have not 'live' listed a stock item, we have enabled it for viewing by our customers from our 'internal stock records'.  Internal stock items can be identified by the lack of data and they all have a 'stock record' picture.  We recommend ideally contacting before buying (so we can double check you are getting the best price and ordering the correct part).
RETURNS - If you are in any doubt at all about the part you are ordering, contact our office by telephone (during opening hours) or email us a photo of your appliance & old parts.  This service is offered to help reduce the amount of incorrectly ordered parts.  Should the Buyer accidently purchase and have delivered the incorrect parts, we offer a 14 days return service. should be notified within 7 days of Delivery by completing our 'RETURNS FORM'.  Buyer will need to cover the Courier charges, Fireparts will refund the cost of the part.  In exceptional cases where an part has been 'specially ordered' ; reserve the right to charge 25% of product price restocking fee.  Glasses purchased from our 'Stove Glass Shop' are most often classed as 'specially ordered' as cut by lazer machine for each order.  More ifnormation about type of returns and the process can be on our RETURNS PROCESS page.  
Once issued a return number, return the item to: - Megga Service, Product Returns only, 176 Long Street, Atherstone, Wawickshire, CV9 1AE. (please note we do not accept parcel deliveries at our head / registered office in Coventry, so please post returns to the Atherstone address, deliveries to Coventry will be rejected)
Processing Time: We endeavor to dispatch orders 24 to 48 hours from receipt.  Some parts may have a longer dispatch time (up to 5 working days) as have to be specially ordered from the supplier.  If a part is going to take longer than 5 working days to receive from our suppliers; we will advise you. (A refund can be provided if required).
Delivery of purchase items are via Royal Mail or Courier according to the information set out on our website.  Delivery charges vary depending on the delivery address, ensure you understand the different delivery zones. Any deliveries to (NON) Mainland UK including areas North of Glasgow & Edinburgh, UK Islands / offshore, Northern Ireland and Mainland UK can be purchased online, delivery charges will be quoted at the shopping cart / checkout stage.  Deliveries to other NON UK destinations (including : Europe, Southern Ireland & Other world areas) cannot be purchased online - contact us for these zones.  In all cases, the couriers we use charge extra for weekend delivery, so our standard web prices are for 'working' hours delivery only.  Weekends can be arranged for an additional small charge, contact us for price. 
Delivery Costs & Taxes: Should you request delivery to an area which is outside of UK Tax laws, then you pay the 'import fees or taxes'.  Our item prices or delivery prices do NOT cover Import Taxes / fees to your country.  We quote online 'guideline' delivery prices, however, there may be times when the couriers actual charge is higher than we quoted / charged.  We will call you should this happen and ask you to either (a) pay the extra delivery charge or (b) ask if you would like to cancel your order and receive a full refund.  We send out from time to time to our customers the courier companies tracking email where the delivery date can be altered.  Beaware that changing to a Saturday delivery may incur extra charges which would be payable by the you / the buyer.  [See Delivery Info Page]
XMAS Delivery: The month of December and leading up to xmas, couriers often can be a day or so later than we quote.  We will display on our website the cut off date for deliveries to arrive before xmas and plan a few extra days for the delayed courier.  Fireparts have no control on the couriers volumes / delay and as such cannot comment.  Orders placed just after our dispayed 'cut off dates' for xmas delivery, may well still be received before the 24th Dec, delivery is out of our control.
Orders Placed in January - The industry as a whole in January seem to go 'short of stock' waiting for container deliveries. Whilst increase their holding of stock during this period, there may be a delay in delivery
on certain stock items (on top of our usual website dispayed dispatching times). We will advise you of any delays within 48 working hours of placing the order.
Product displayed weight is often estimated and 'averaged out' across that particular stock type sector.  For this reason weights are merely used as a guide to postage costs and not to be used as the actual weight of the product.
Product Guarantee - We do not offer a guarantee against usage of the product.  The items we sell are purchased from reliable suppliers with good grade of metal.  Metal parts are made in batch loads and as such, if their were a problem with a batch we would know from many customer. If parts wear too quickly, this is usually as they have either been (a) fitted incorrectly or (b) the incorrect fuel grade is being burnt.  Glass parts such as stove glasses also do not have a guarantee of usage.  If they break early again its due to bad fitting.  [See our Technical Help Pages] which offers guidance of how to fit certain parts.  
Signing for Goods - Most of our parcels will require a signature upon receipt.  Only sign for the items once you have checked them.  If Broken, do not sign and return the item with the courier. If you have asked us to leave the parcel somewhere we will need you to 'write & sign' a note and leave it in the location you require (or by your door).  This then gives the driver authorisation to leave - you will however be responsible for the parcel from this point.  Any 'delivery' information you ask us to pass on (at checkout stage) will be sent to the Driver.
Damaged Items - Most items are covered by the couriers insurance and we will work with you to obtain a refund / replace the part should it arrive damaged.  When you sign, you are signing to say 'received in good order' - so do not sign if damaged.  Note that Glass Products are generally NOT insured by the courier.  In the event you have signed for the goods and did not check them... Do NOT tamper / remove the immediate film covering the glass.  Photo's will be required as proof.  Once you have signed for the item, it reduces your change of obtaining a refund (should it be broken), so always check before signing.
Out of Stock Items: We endevour to keep our stock records up to date, however, from time to time levels shown or orders received by our online shopping site may not reflect the levels we hold in stock.  If we are short of an item, we will endevour to seek it from our suppliers and will advise you of the potential delay in dispatch.  Due to the nature of the fire spares market, manufactures stop producing parts for appliances several years after the appliance was disconitnued, some of these parts 'float' around stockists for many years, or if popular, may well be reproduced.  In the rare event where we have taken an order and cannot obtain a part, we reserve the right to return in full the money you paid and accept no liability of consequential losses of any type.  
Coupons are provided as a 'gesture of goodwill' to our clients. If they are not used at the time of ordering and paying online or over the telephone, then we cannot apply the discount to that particular order. The MANUAL process of refunding the discount (from a 'time' and 'card processing costs' point of view) makes it a costly transaction for us. We keep our prices as keen as possible and rely on automated accounts processes to streamline our business costs, meaning we can pass on these discounts to our clients.  Coupons may be removed at anytime and without notice.
Delivery & Payment Address: If Items are being paid by Paypal or Credit Cards then shipment to an address other than the registered billing address are not permitted.  Our online system may well process the transaction, however we will contact you to discuss a refund or potential other method of payment.  Insurance cover against fraud is not covered if sent out to an address other than the registered billing address.
Data on our website is sourced from many reference points, neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information found on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us and is copyrighted.
