000604 Baxi ADJUSTABLE THROAT UNIT | 16 and 18 inch ONLY

Baxi ADJUSTABLE THROAT UNIT for 16 and 18 inch Baxi apliances, suitable for use with 16 Inch fire opening (provided NO back boiler). 

The Throat restrictor unit controls the amount of air flow up the chimney.  It will not close off fully as needs a small air gap for ventilation when closed. There are 3x positions (1) needs fully opening when lighting (2) partly open when chimney is warm  (3) Closed when fire not operational, with small vent.  The Baxi Throat Unit sits on top of the fire bricks.
