Baxi 20" Burnall Fire

To ensure you select the correct BAXI GRATE, measure the front of the metal plate on the hearth (at the front opening of the fire).  This will provide you with the correct actual FIRE OPENING SIZE.  A Baxi Fire will be either 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches wide.  This is NOT the grate measurement. Check the measurements of your actual grate is within 1 or 2 mm of the sizes we publish for the actual grate size.  You can also check the grate pattern matches your orginal grate (count the holes and bars in the grate - see the pictures of the Baxi Grate.

Grate Function:

The 'Grate' supports the Fuel (from falling into the Ashpan) when it is burning.
