It was fine. I ordered what I needed to replace (old grate had gone out of shape over 20 odd years) bits arrived in a few days and slotted into place. Simple really.

Did the job nicely and a perfect fit. However, be aware that the lifting slots are narrower than the old design, so the old lifting key does not work with it.

The Rayburn No3 was launched around 1950. The Rayburn No3 had two ovens (a warming draw and main oven). The Rayburn No3 ceased manufacture in 1958 and the Rayburn Royal superceeded the No3... The Rayburn No3 riddling grate is circular in shape.
The Rayburn No3 is no longer manufactured however Ashpans, Fire Bricks, Grate & Frame, Boilers are usually available.....
