Brilliant. quick. Kept me updated with what was happening and my grandma and grandad where over moon that it arrives next day.

My old one was 30 year old this one will not last 30 year it is not half as sturdy as old one but is doing job as I tended for now. Correct tool as advertised so no complaints.

Delivery was swift and the parts were as ordered. However the riddling/ operating tool is rubbish compared to the one it's replacing.

This steel replacement seems like a good idea as it's less brittle (and presumably much cheaper to fabricate) than the cast iron original which snapped when a log dropped on it! But it's so much thinner at the non-spanner end that it's useless for picking up the ashpan - so much so that to describe it as a "lifting tool" is misleading. I've tried calling a couple of times to explain but the office is closed. I would however welcome a response.
